Terms and conditions of sale

Last updated: 12 October 2026

1. Purpose and scope

These terms of sale (hereinafter the “Terms of Sale”) govern the contractual relationship between Yoel Khalifa EI (trading name: Orbelune), a sole trader under French law (entrepreneur individuel (micro-entreprise)), whose business address is Apt B-304, chemin du Bois de Saget, 31240 Saint-Jean, France, registered with the Registre national des entreprises (RNE), SIRET number 131 065 120 00019 (hereinafter “Orbelune” or “we”), and any natural person of full age acting for purposes outside their trade or profession who takes out a paid subscription on the website orbelune-astro.com (hereinafter “the Customer” or “you”).

Any subscription implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Sale, which the Customer acknowledges having read before confirming their order, by ticking the box provided for that purpose. The applicable Terms of Sale are those in force on the date of subscription. They supplement the terms of use, which govern the use of the Site and of the member area. In the event of any conflict, these Terms of Sale prevail in all matters relating to the paid subscription.

2. Description of the service

Orbelune offers a subscription service for personalised astrological content, which includes, depending on the plan chosen: personal horoscopes calculated from the Customer’s birth chart (monthly, weekly or daily), star sign horoscopes, an interpreted birth chart, readings of events in the sky (lunations, retrogrades, eclipses) and written answers to questions asked by the Customer (“Questions for Orbelune”). Content is sent by email, by web (push) notification and, for the Sun plan only, by SMS, and remains available in the member area.

Content is produced from real astronomical calculations (planetary positions, phases of the moon) and written with the help of artificial intelligence (the Claude API provided by Anthropic), in compliance with editorial rules defined by Orbelune. It is offered for entertainment and personal development purposes only and in no circumstances constitutes medical, psychological, financial, legal or professional advice. No important decision should be taken on the sole basis of it.

3. Plans and prices

Three plans are offered, with monthly or annual payment. Annual payment corresponds to roughly eight monthly instalments, i.e. four months free compared with monthly payment.

PlanMain contentMonthly price (all taxes included)Annual price (all taxes included)
MoonYour personal horoscope for the month€4.90 / month€39 / year
StarYour personal sky every day€9.90 / month€79 / year
SunYour personal astrologer, as much as you like€14.90 / month€119 / year

Full details of what each plan includes are set out on the Pricing page. All plans include a personal horoscope for the month and the complete interpreted birth chart. The Star plan adds the daily and weekly personal horoscope and three (3) questions per calendar month. The Sun plan adds five (5) questions per day, the daily rising sign reading, the daily explanation of retrogrades and eclipses and delivery by SMS.

Personal horoscopes require the Customer to have entered their date of birth; the time and place of birth, which are optional, make them more accurate. Unused questions are not carried over to the following period. Answers to questions are written by artificial intelligence on the basis of the Customer’s chart and the current sky; like all content, they are for entertainment purposes and do not constitute advice (see Article 2).

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included: VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. They do not include internet connection costs or, where applicable, charges for receiving SMS messages billed by the Customer’s mobile operator, which remain payable by the Customer.

Orbelune reserves the right to change its prices. Any price change applicable to an ongoing subscription is notified to the Customer by email at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect, which may only occur at the next renewal. A Customer who does not accept the change may cancel their subscription before that date, free of charge.

4. Subscription

To subscribe, the Customer must be at least 18 years old, create an account, choose a plan and a payment frequency, enter a valid payment method, read these Terms of Sale and confirm their order. A summary of the order (plan, price, length of the trial, date of the first payment) is displayed before final confirmation.

The contract is concluded when the order is confirmed. A confirmation setting out the essential terms of the contract and a link to these Terms of Sale is sent to the Customer by email on a durable medium. Orbelune keeps a record of the order and of the acceptance of the Terms of Sale for evidential purposes.

5. 7-day free trial

Each plan comes with a free trial period of 7 days from the date of subscription. A payment method must be registered at the time of subscription, but no amount is charged during the trial.

  • A reminder email is sent to the Customer three (3) days before the end of the trial, stating the date and amount of the first payment.
  • If the Customer cancels before the end of the trial, no amount is charged and access to the paid content ends when the trial ends.
  • If the Customer does not cancel, the subscription continues automatically at the end of the trial and the first payment is taken on that date.
  • The free trial is limited to one trial per person, across all plans. Orbelune may refuse a further trial where multiple email addresses, accounts or payment methods are used in order to get around this rule.

6. Payment and invoicing

Payments are processed by our secure payment provider, Stripe. Accepted payment methods are bank card (CB, Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay and, where Stripe offers it, PayPal. Orbelune never has access to full bank card numbers, which are held exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified provider.

The subscription price is payable in advance, at the start of each period (month or year). An invoice is issued automatically with each payment, sent by email and available at any time in the member area, under “My subscription”.

7. Term and automatic renewal

The subscription is taken out with no minimum commitment, for a period of one month or one year depending on the payment frequency chosen. It is renewed automatically at the end of each period, for the same length of time, until it is cancelled by the Customer or by Orbelune.

For annual subscriptions, Orbelune informs the Customer by email, no earlier than three months and no later than one month before the renewal date, of the date of renewal and of their option not to renew, in accordance with Article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code.

8. Payment failure

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds, refusal by the bank), Stripe automatically makes several further attempts over a period of about two (2) weeks. The Customer is informed by email at each stage and invited to update their payment method from their member area. If payment has not been made good by the end of that period, the subscription is automatically terminated and access to the paid content ends. The Customer’s account is kept and they may subscribe again at any time.

9. Changing plan

  • Upgrading to a higher plan: the change takes effect immediately. The Customer is charged the pro rata difference in price for the current period, then the new price from the following period onwards.
  • Downgrading to a lower plan: the change takes effect immediately. The unused portion of the previous plan gives rise to a credit calculated pro rata, which is automatically applied to subsequent invoices.

Plans are changed from the member area, under “My subscription”. A summary of the amount charged or credited is displayed before confirmation.

10. Pausing

The Customer may suspend their subscription for up to three (3) months, from their member area. During the pause, no payment is taken and no content is sent. The subscription resumes automatically on the pause end date chosen, or earlier if the Customer reactivates it themselves; billing resumes on that date.

11. Cancellation

11.1 Cancellation by the Customer

The Customer may cancel their subscription at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason, in three clicks, in accordance with Article L215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code:

  • from their member area, under “My subscription”, then the “Cancel” button;
  • or from the public page Cancel my subscription, which can be reached at all times from the footer of the Site.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period already paid for (or at the end of the free trial if it occurs during the trial). The Customer keeps access to their content until that date. No amount is charged after cancellation. A confirmation email stating the end date of the subscription is sent to the Customer. Except where the right of withdrawal is exercised (Article 12), periods that have begun are not refunded.

11.2 Cancellation by Orbelune

Orbelune may terminate the subscription in the event of a serious breach by the Customer of these Terms of Sale or of the Terms of Use (in particular fraud, identity theft, misuse or resale of the content), after formal notice has remained without effect for eight (8) days, except in an emergency or in a proven case of fraud. Orbelune may also stop providing the service by giving at least thirty (30) days’ notice; sums paid for the unused period are then refunded pro rata.

12. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from the conclusion of the contract (date of subscription) to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to give any reason or bear any costs other than those provided for by law.

More favourable commercial policy: although performance of the service begins upon subscription, Orbelune undertakes, in the event of withdrawal within the fourteen-day period, to refund all sums paid in full, with no deduction for the service already provided.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised:

  • in one click from the member area, using the “Withdraw” button displayed under “My subscription” during the fourteen days following subscription;
  • by email to bonjour@orbelune-astro.com, by means of any unequivocal statement expressing the decision to withdraw;
  • by sending the model withdrawal form set out in the annex to these Terms of Sale, by email or by post to the address given at the beginning of these Terms of Sale.

Orbelune acknowledges receipt of the withdrawal by email. The refund is made no later than fourteen (14) days after receipt of the request, using the same means of payment as that used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer has expressly agreed otherwise. This refund does not give rise to any costs for the Customer. Withdrawal immediately ends the subscription and access to the paid content.

13. Referral programme

Any subscribed Customer may invite friends and family using the personal link available in their member area. For each invited person who becomes a paying subscriber, that is to say whose first payment has actually been received at the end of their free trial, the referrer receives one month free, in the form of a credit equal to the monthly price of their plan in force on that date, automatically applied to their next invoices.

The credit is non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and is non-transferable. Referring oneself, creating fictitious accounts or any fraudulent practice will result in the cancellation of the credits obtained. Orbelune may modify or end the referral programme at any time, without affecting credits already earned.

14. Obligations and liability

Orbelune undertakes to provide the service with due care, in accordance with the description given on the Site. In accordance with Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, Orbelune is required to supply digital content and services that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of supply or arising during the term of the subscription. In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer may require the service to be brought into conformity or, failing that, obtain a price reduction or the termination of the contract, under the conditions provided for by law.

Orbelune cannot be held liable for temporary interruptions due to maintenance, for delays or failures in receipt attributable to internet service providers, telephone operators, the Customer’s email services (in particular spam filters) or browser notification services, or for cases of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code. Given the nature of the content (entertainment and personal development), Orbelune cannot be held liable for decisions taken by the Customer on the basis of it. Nothing in these Terms of Sale limits the rights the Customer holds under mandatory provisions of consumer law.

15. Customer service and complaints

For any question or complaint, the Customer may contact customer service at bonjour@orbelune-astro.com, by telephone on 0768660623 or via the contact form. We aim to reply within two (2) working days.

16. Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, in the event of a dispute that has not been resolved following a prior written complaint to Orbelune, the Customer may refer the matter free of charge to the following consumer mediator: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice), 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris (www.cm2c.net). The matter must be referred to the mediator within one year of the written complaint.

17. Personal data

Personal data collected when subscribing and during the performance of the subscription is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.

18. Changes to the Terms of Sale

Orbelune may amend these Terms of Sale. The amended Terms of Sale apply to new subscriptions as soon as they are published online. For ongoing subscriptions, any material change is notified by email at least thirty (30) days before it comes into force; a Customer who does not accept it may cancel their subscription free of charge before that date.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement or resolution through mediation, the French courts have jurisdiction. A consumer Customer may bring proceedings, at their choice, before the court for the place where they were living at the time the contract was concluded or the harmful event occurred, or before any other court having jurisdiction under the law. These provisions do not deprive a Customer residing in another Member State of the European Union of the protection afforded to them by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
